Day 170 – June 19
Bless or curse
“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.” Romans 12:14
If you want something different, you’ve got to do something different. Sometimes those words can haunt us when we are face to face with people who don’t like us very much. But the culture that exists in our country and world is self-centered, which is the opposite of a Jesus-first mentality. If we want to see the culture change, we must put down Satan’s weapon of offense and begin to love like Jesus loves us and loved us on the cross. In Acts 7, Stephen was being stoned to death and was so filled with the Holy Spirit as he was dying that he prayed, “Lord don’t hold their sins against them” (Acts 7:60). Are you kidding me?! That is what counter culture Christianity looks like. Change is never easy, but it’s worth it and as we walk the way Jesus planned for our lives, people will take notice and lives will change.
Forgive, love, and be the change this world needs by remembering the love Jesus has given you and blesses you with daily. You are a world changer!
We’re more than conquerors in Christ.
