Day 165 – June 14
A part or Apart
“For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them.” Romans 12:4-6
Each of us is uniquely made by God to do different things and to have different personalities and gifts (Charisma). God made you exactly as He intended to make you. Just like your arm and mouth have very unique functions for your body to work properly, so do each and every person in the body of Christ. The body cannot work like it’s intended to work when something shuts down. Let something small and seemingly insignificant like the gallbladder go bad. You may not ever think about it or ever remember it when it’s working, but you will if it stops working. The same goes for you! If you don’t feel like you’re part of the body of Christ or that what you do is pointless, the body will go into a sickness due to the part you are to play in the whole. We must stop looking at the Kingdom and the church as a place and begin to realize we are playing a part that was never intended for us to do it apart. When the church goes wild and begins to fight internally, the only one who wins is the Devil! Whatever your gifts are, use them and as one body with many members we will begin to see this culture change and the world take notice that God is in the business of healing, forgiving, and changing lives! Let’s all be a part.
We’re more than conquerors in Christ!
